You may know C S Lewis from his widely read Narnia books for children (and adults) but did you know that C.S. Lewis is probably the best known and most loved presenter of the Christian faith in the 20th century. He began his adult life as an atheist, but became "the most reluctant Christian convert" and spent the rest of his life helping people understand the Christian faith. His book, Mere Christianity, was developed from a series of short, easy to understand, talks presented on BBC radio during World War II. In these talks Lewis laid out the core or bare-bones of a true and lively faith, in a way that people can easily understand and share with others.
